1. Principle of the ALSM Mud Zero-Discharge System
The ALSM mud-shut-in system is equipment used in oilfield drilling operations to treat waste materials. It efficiently separates, filters, and processes drilling waste and cuttings, thereby protecting the environment while enhancing operational efficiency.
Process flow of the mud-zero-discharge system: Waste generated by the shale shaker, integrated unit, and centrifuge is conveyed via a screw conveyor to the drill-cutting dewatering machine. The solid phase discharged from the dewatering machine has a very low liquid content—approximately 10% for water-based cuttings and about 8% for oil-based cuttings—and can be directly bagged and packaged. The liquid phase from the dewatering machine is collected in a holding tank and then pumped by a sand pump into a high-efficiency, intelligent variable-frequency centrifuge; the solid phase discharged from the centrifuge can also be directly bagged and packaged. The liquid phase from the centrifuge is returned to the circulation tank for recovery. The process flow diagram is shown below:
