2. Characteristics
①The ALSMZCQ series vacuum degasser is a centrifugal-type vacuum degasser. Because the main motor starts first and the impeller connected to the motor rotates at high speed, the drilling mud can only enter the tank through the suction pipe and will not be drawn in through the discharge pipe.
② The vacuum pump draws the slurry into the vacuum tank and simultaneously evacuates the gas from the tank, thereby performing two distinct functions.
③ During operation, the liquid-ring vacuum pump maintains isothermal conditions at all times, making it suitable for the suction of flammable and explosive gases and ensuring reliable safety performance.
④ The drilling mud is ejected at high speed through the rotor’s windows toward the four walls, thoroughly breaking down the air bubbles in the mud and achieving excellent degassing.
⑤ The main motor is offset, resulting in a low center of gravity for the entire machine.
⑥ Belt drive is employed, resulting in a simple structure and convenient, quick maintenance.
⑦ The use of a gas–water separator prevents both water and gas from being discharged simultaneously, ensuring that the exhaust pipe remains unobstructed at all times. In addition, it enables recirculation of water into the vacuum pump, thereby reducing water consumption.
⑧ The suction pipe is inserted into the mud tank and, in the absence of air entrainment in the mud, can be used as a high-power agitator.
